Personal:

I've always been more a dancer than a Runner, but i've ALWAYS been into working out and staying active. I ran the 1 mile in track in Highschool ( i think my fastes mile was right around 7 mins.) but never in my life have I ran longer than one mile until 2009. I am a Zumba instructor and I run in the Spring/Summer. I love running but I do not enjoy running on the TM or outside in the cold, so I guess you could say I'm a Fair weather runner.

I am Happily Married to my hottie husband Moses and have 5 cutie kiddos - Moses Jr. (15), Andre (11), Dallas (10), Rhoman (7) and Scotlyn (3) -

Its December!!!! I love December!

I didn't make it to the gym this morning - I was so wiped out!

I did teach Zumba 8-9 PM.

I ran 2.5 and then lifted some weights- upper body - then jumped back on the treadmill to run one more quick mile (7:30 pace).

I only worked out twice this week -- I'm taking it easy intentionally because I know come January its about to get CrAzY! I'm going to be teaching more Zumba classes, and I'm going to be working with Michael Banks, I auditioned to be in his workout DVD, and I made it in, along with 10 others, we are the S.W.E.A.T team. I was so surprised, Really! I didn't think I had a chance! So we'll be working on that and then shooting the DVD in February. He is crazy intense, so I know i'm in for some great workouts.

Fitness Goals for 2010 -

- I want to run a Marathon! Yes I will do it!!!

- I want to learn to ballroom dance with my husband!

- Get tighter, leaner, better, more fit.

- Run some more races in the Summer and hopefully get faster.

Taught Zumba 8-9 tonight. The studio was freezing!!! Its been closed for Christmas so the heat wasn't on when I got there. We all started out in coats and jackets, but everyone started shedding clothing pretty quick once we got going. It was really fun tonight! I love all the ladies who come! It was a good pick-me-up. I get grumpy when its cold and dreary, so Zumba is just what I needed. Dancing and the music just makes me happy!!!

I've still got this dumb lingering cough. I think the air quality isn't helping much either. Where did all this snow come from? Why couldn't it have come last week for Christmas? Now I don't want the snow!!! This is the time of year when I start thinking every day that I want to live somewhere warmer, January and February are not the funnest in Utah. I'm just a Summertime girl! Its my favorite time of year. I DISLIKE winter. Yuck! OK I'm done whining now.

Been cooped up in this house all day, so when Moses got home I said "seeya" and went and ran a few miles and then I felt sooo much better!

I am a different person after a workout. I love to sweat.
