Personal:

I've always been more a dancer than a Runner, but i've ALWAYS been into working out and staying active. I ran the 1 mile in track in Highschool ( i think my fastes mile was right around 7 mins.) but never in my life have I ran longer than one mile until 2009. I am a Zumba instructor and I run in the Spring/Summer. I love running but I do not enjoy running on the TM or outside in the cold, so I guess you could say I'm a Fair weather runner.

I am Happily Married to my hottie husband Moses and have 5 cutie kiddos - Moses Jr. (15), Andre (11), Dallas (10), Rhoman (7) and Scotlyn (3) -

Taught Zumba 8-9 tonight. The studio was freezing!!! Its been closed for Christmas so the heat wasn't on when I got there. We all started out in coats and jackets, but everyone started shedding clothing pretty quick once we got going. It was really fun tonight! I love all the ladies who come! It was a good pick-me-up. I get grumpy when its cold and dreary, so Zumba is just what I needed. Dancing and the music just makes me happy!!!

I've still got this dumb lingering cough. I think the air quality isn't helping much either. Where did all this snow come from? Why couldn't it have come last week for Christmas? Now I don't want the snow!!! This is the time of year when I start thinking every day that I want to live somewhere warmer, January and February are not the funnest in Utah. I'm just a Summertime girl! Its my favorite time of year. I DISLIKE winter. Yuck! OK I'm done whining now.

It's ok Lyns, I HATE January and February too. I despise snow after Christmas. I just leave and shop, go to movies, out to eat, playplaces for the kids. You know, all the things to take the mind off the crappy sunless weather.

I am getting one of those lights you sit in front of for winter blues soon. I heard they work wonders!

Yeah I've heard about those lights, and good things :). I hear you on no snow after Christmas, but hopefully it will make the air quality better!
