Keep on Running and staying fit always. Our bodies were made to MOVE!!!!
Personal:
I've always been more a dancer than a Runner, but i've ALWAYS been into working out and staying active. I ran the 1 mile in track in Highschool ( i think my fastes mile was right around 7 mins.) but never in my life have I ran longer than one mile until 2009. I am a Zumba instructor and I run in the Spring/Summer. I love running but I do not enjoy running on the TM or outside in the cold, so I guess you could say I'm a Fair weather runner.
I am Happily Married to my hottie husband Moses and have 5 cutie kiddos - Moses Jr. (15), Andre (11), Dallas (10), Rhoman (7) and Scotlyn (3) -
Ran with Merri -- 6 miles in about 50 mins. Don't know for sure the time or pace because Merri's good ol' Garmin was out today.

I predict 1:33:28 for your Hobble Creek Half. That's what the race time predictor says anyway. :) So shoot for a 7-7:15 pace.

So Merri is predicting off of a predictor? :) I predict you will do something close to the same :)

Wow! Do you really think I could do that? That sounds easier said than done right now. I guess we'll see, I'm hoping I could keep that pace for 13 miles - I don't know!

if you're still using the same training schedule I have it looks like you should do 8, 9, 10 miles on the next 3 Saturdays. Maybe you should try to up it to either a 9, 10 & 11. But maybe that wont make much of a difference. i was just thinking it was a big jump from 10 miles to 13.1 in one week. But I did a half once after only running an 8 miler before so you should be good.

You are crushing it out on the course! What's the secret to this SF womens running club. You gal's are all putting the speed down. Very nice race on Friday. My brother and niece ran it - sounded like a rock'in time.

Merri- ok lets do a longer run coming up the next couple of weeks. I Can't this weekend cuz I'll be gone - but I wouldn't mind doing it next week. (Whatever you say Master - I would jump off a cliff if you told me it would help me run better - ha ha)
Oreo - thanks dude! ...and yes the S.F. Womens Running club is Da-bomb!
