Personal:

I've always been more a dancer than a Runner, but i've ALWAYS been into working out and staying active. I ran the 1 mile in track in Highschool ( i think my fastes mile was right around 7 mins.) but never in my life have I ran longer than one mile until 2009. I am a Zumba instructor and I run in the Spring/Summer. I love running but I do not enjoy running on the TM or outside in the cold, so I guess you could say I'm a Fair weather runner.

I am Happily Married to my hottie husband Moses and have 5 cutie kiddos - Moses Jr. (15), Andre (11), Dallas (10), Rhoman (7) and Scotlyn (3) -

Speedy Spaniard route with Lily and Merri this morning. Avg pace was 7:58. We ran the route and then ran the extra mile home. I was very tired this morn when that alarm went off at 4:45 AM (didn't go to bed until 12 last night). But alas I did get up and I'm so glad I did, I actually felt really good on this run this morning - it wasn't as hard as the last time we ran it - progress!!! Sweet, Sweet progress!!!

Things I learned this morning : Merri has super spidey senses, she can hear a car a mile away and see things that the average human cannot see. And Lily is a direct descendant of the king of Scotland - I'm running with a super hero and a member of the royal family -- Doesn't get any better than that my friends.

Plus they're both speedy.

Yes - they are speedy which is really pushing me - I ♥ it!

ha ha It's so funny what we each remember about the run. Like somehow I forgot the king of Scotland until now.

Hi Lyns!

Thanks for the encouragement! I see that you have your half coming up! My goal is to run a half by next September, once I have a solid year of running under my belt. Is the Hobble Creek race in Utah?

hehehe your funny. I thought the course felt way easier this morning too. We gotta do it again next Friday. It'll be fun!

Wow - Nice to have running comps with extra powers - 4:45 - seriously! It is usually worth it though.. Usually...
