Personal:

I've always been more a dancer than a Runner, but i've ALWAYS been into working out and staying active. I ran the 1 mile in track in Highschool ( i think my fastes mile was right around 7 mins.) but never in my life have I ran longer than one mile until 2009. I am a Zumba instructor and I run in the Spring/Summer. I love running but I do not enjoy running on the TM or outside in the cold, so I guess you could say I'm a Fair weather runner.

I am Happily Married to my hottie husband Moses and have 5 cutie kiddos - Moses Jr. (15), Andre (11), Dallas (10), Rhoman (7) and Scotlyn (3) -

Merri, Lily and I did the Speedy Spaniard course today - Our avg pace was 7:31. Pretty dang good! - seems like the speed is starting to come more for me now, I'm not going to lie though - today was hard! I felt like I was going to throw up right around 5 and 1/2. (I shoudn't have ate that Big Ol' Bratwurst at the BBQ last night.) And my foot was hurting a little bit and when I took off my shoe, there was blood all over my sock, I think it was coming from my toes. I need some good running shoes I think!

P.M.- I'll be teaching Zumba 8-9 tonight - you all should come!!!!! You know you want to.

I couldn't see a blister, I think my toenail is about to come off on my 2nd toe but there was a lot of blood around my 4th toe too, but I couldn't see a cut or blister or anything. Weird!

I used to have such cute lil' groomed toenails - those days are over i guess! ☺

Good job today! You can pretty much kiss those toe nails good bye! You should be running in shoes that are at least one size larger than your normal size. I still lose toe nails on every marathon.

I guess ugly toes are one negative side effect of running. Yeah, new shoes are in my near future - maybe i'll buy me some new shoes for Moses' B-day! He'd be okay with that right?

oh man, I wished I would have known that you guys went today! I want to run the freedom run but now I am supposed to run friday, and hike timp, do you think it would be too much? And I am nervous, and I don't want to pay $30. But I still want to do it, it all makes sense right? I just barely joined yesterday, I didn't even tell anyone I joined you'll have to show me how to find people on here. Thanks for telling me about the blog oh and my cute hair!
