Personal:

I've always been more a dancer than a Runner, but i've ALWAYS been into working out and staying active. I ran the 1 mile in track in Highschool ( i think my fastes mile was right around 7 mins.) but never in my life have I ran longer than one mile until 2009. I am a Zumba instructor and I run in the Spring/Summer. I love running but I do not enjoy running on the TM or outside in the cold, so I guess you could say I'm a Fair weather runner.

I am Happily Married to my hottie husband Moses and have 5 cutie kiddos - Moses Jr. (15), Andre (11), Dallas (10), Rhoman (7) and Scotlyn (3) -

I'm really frustrated right now because my knee is really hurting. I think I did something to it last night at Zumba. I'm hoping this is NOT going to effect my 1/2 tomorrow.

WHAT GREAT TIMING! WHY??? WHY TODAY???

UPDATE: Knee is feeling a lot better now. I put some muscle rub on it and the more I walk around and move on it its feeling better. It hurt last night before I went to bed and then when I tried to put weight on it this morning it really hurt - I was limping around all morning long. Pain is still there but it seems like its getting better. I think I'll ice it tonight.

UGH!!! I'm sorry, that stuff always happens when you want it to the least!!! Just ask Lily. Hope it's better by tomorrow. Maybe try icing it today and taking it nice and easy.

on a side note the new picture is cute!

It's the race curse! Why did I sprain my ankle 3 days before the Speedy Spaniard???- so annoying!

I'll send some quick prayers up for you. Ice ice ice.

Oh ps take ibuprofen before the race. that should help and it wouldn't hurt to take some during. Maybe take 2 before the race and 2 during the race. At mile 8 or so.

Sometimes with knees you just have to not baby it and walk it off. But you'd be wise to never take my advice.
