Personal:

I've always been more a dancer than a Runner, but i've ALWAYS been into working out and staying active. I ran the 1 mile in track in Highschool ( i think my fastes mile was right around 7 mins.) but never in my life have I ran longer than one mile until 2009. I am a Zumba instructor and I run in the Spring/Summer. I love running but I do not enjoy running on the TM or outside in the cold, so I guess you could say I'm a Fair weather runner.

I am Happily Married to my hottie husband Moses and have 5 cutie kiddos - Moses Jr. (15), Andre (11), Dallas (10), Rhoman (7) and Scotlyn (3) -

I've ran more than usual this week, I've been off of Zumba this week, so that gives me more time to run. Surgery tomorrow! I'm kind of scared, never been cut into before. Hopefully its not to bad and I have a speedy recovery. Its going to be hard for me not to work out for weeks, its like telling me not to breathe.

Thanks for catching your blog up. I appreciate it :)

Hope the surgery goes well tomorrow. I'll say a little prayer for you.

I've never had surgery either. Yikes! At least you can get this fixed though. Here's to a speedy recovery!

I heard it all went well and you're a trooper recovering w/ no pain meds. :) Do you need some dinner? I heard Sandy was taking care of you, but if your dinners have run out let me know. I'm sure I could open a can of pork & beans for you and your fam to eat. :)

Yes Merri it did go well. I only had pain meds the first day at the hospital and I was throwing up so I decided not to take them. Ibruprofen has been doing the trick. I think I'm just going stir crazy now with not being able to get out or work out. We're good with Dinners! I should be the one bringing you dinner!
