Personal:

I've always been more a dancer than a Runner, but i've ALWAYS been into working out and staying active. I ran the 1 mile in track in Highschool ( i think my fastes mile was right around 7 mins.) but never in my life have I ran longer than one mile until 2009. I am a Zumba instructor and I run in the Spring/Summer. I love running but I do not enjoy running on the TM or outside in the cold, so I guess you could say I'm a Fair weather runner.

I am Happily Married to my hottie husband Moses and have 5 cutie kiddos - Moses Jr. (15), Andre (11), Dallas (10), Rhoman (7) and Scotlyn (3) -

Ran the Provo City 5k this morning with Lily. It was miserably cold, wet, rainy, snowy, sleety... not good conditions at all.. but yet we still had a great time. I got 3rd place in my AD and 32nd overall, my time was 22:25 (7:14 pace). Proud of myself b/c I really wanted to give up at about 2 1/2 because I was so cold and wet, but I'm glad I didn't. Lily smoked me (of course) she did it in about 20:30 I think, Way to go Lilster!!!!

After the race I went up to SLC to a latin jam class taught by JP Santanna, it was an awesome 2 hours of dancing!!! Very active day, I'm going to sleep good!

Very nice Lyns. I'm so glad I commented before Lily and Merri. Did you get a medal?

Lynsey I am so glad we did this together! I am a whimp when it comes to showing up to races alone and you know that.

I had so much fun and you still rocked! Can't wait to do the next one with you!

Thanks guys! It was a good race. Considering how little I run, I feel like I did pretty good. I guess all that Zumba is good cardio training!
